In the construction of both the South District Rental Building and North District Rental Building, the first floor slab, at the same height as the surrounding ground level, has been constructed first, and then, above ground and underground construction work are proceeding simultaneously, which is called the “inverted construction method”. The first floor slab acts as lateral propping and has the effect of minimizing influence on the surrounding environment that comes from underground excavation.
At present, in the underground construction work, excavation is progressing beneath the first floor. In the above ground construction work, assembly of the tower crane and erection of the steel frame is progressing on top of the first floor.
