Umekita 2nd Project
We’ll try just about anything out of interest,
even if it’s a little eccentric or difficult.
The free spirit nurtured in Osaka
meets a fresh breath of verdant green
right next to Osaka Station, leading to the future,
bringing together people, things, and activities.
The Umekita Project, already underway, is a large-scale complex development
at the former cargo yard in front of Osaka Station.
This continues the area’s development, following the earlier opening of Grand Front Osaka in 2013.
With the Umekita 2nd Project, we are working to establish an urban development with offices, hotels, core functions, commercial facilities, an urban park and housing that leads the way
from Umekita for Osaka, the Kansai region and the whole world.
Aiming for utilization in a wide range of scenes by all kinds of people, from residence to business,
the project awaits its advance opening in Summer 2024.

Access to 13 rail lines at 7 stations, including JR Osaka Station.
The launch of the new Osaka Station in 2023, which will serve as a terminal connecting major railways in the Kansai region, will offer improved access to Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport, and Shin-Osaka Station—the gateways from Japan and abroad.
The Naniwasuji Line, scheduled to open in 2031, will also connect to the Namba area, bringing improved convenience in the future.
